April Sees SUP Kick Into High Gear

 

The weekend of April 13th through the 15th will see SUP in full bloom.

SAN DIEGO, California - Now that April is upon us and the weather is cooperating for the majority of the SUP world, this weekend will once again prove that Stand Up Paddleboarding is alive and well. There are numerous events in many countries leaving no doubt that floods of padders will hit the race courses to have fun and get their fix.  Here are just a few we have highlighted:

Event 1

The 9th Annual Shark Bite Challenge will be held in Dunedin, Florida on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th. 

Event 2

The 3rd Annual Hovie SUP Festival will be at the Newport Aquatic Center in California on Saturday the 14th, beginning at 7:30 am with event registration.  The first race will begin at 9:30am.  

Event 3

La Roootaaa Regataaaa Race 2, will be Saturday the 14th at the Blue Marlin Fish House 2500 North East 163rd Street in North Miami Beach, FL. This event will have both a 4 mile and an 8 mile loop race beginning at 9am.

Event 4

There is another event on Saturday the 14th in Itaipu, Nitereoi, RJ, Brazil.  It is the 1º Evento Ecologico de Stand Up Paddle de Niteroi, RJ

Event 5

This Saturday the 14th there will be a SUP Competition at Dixon Park Beach as well as a social and demo with Newcastle SUP in New South Whales, Australia.·

Event 6

You'll find a Free SUP Demo on Sunday the 15th with Main Beach Surf and Sport located at Main Beach Surf and Sport, Wainscott, New York.
